Fresh off a win, a second-chance apartment is the dream of many a renter in fresnos downtown.
But what exactly is a first chance?
And how long will a second opportunity apartment stay?
As with most things in the real estate world, first time buyers and prospective renters alike are faced with an uncertain future.
But some first time apartment seekers and potential renters are optimistic.
“I think the first time, it’s going to be worth it,” said Melissa Ziegler.
The 28-year-old has been looking for a second house in Fresnos for about two years.
“It’s going into the future.
I’m hoping it’s still here,” she said.”
When I got a second offer, I just didn’t know how long it would be.
I think I’ll be able to afford a two-bedroom in my new apartment,” Ms Zieglers daughter, Jordan, told News.au.
She says her family and friends would be interested in moving to fresnos in the future.
“I think it would help me be able spend more time with my family and that’s something that really, really helps with my confidence,” she added.
For most first time renters, a first time home is the ideal opportunity to save on rent.
“The second chance is a really great opportunity for a new housebuyer,” Mr Zieglis said.
However, for those who want a second home, they may have to wait a little longer.
“If it’s a two bedroom, I think it’s probably around two to three years,” said Stephanie Kowalski.
“You’re just not going to see a new home open up on that lot,” she told Newsau.
“A lot of the houses we see are really expensive to buy now.
And a lot of them, they’ve gone through multiple auctions.”
So what’s the difference between a first and second time home?
