It was announced on Friday that Claudio Marciotis has signed for the Bianconeri, who are currently third in Serie A, but it will not be confirmed until Sunday. 

Marchisio is currently out with a knee injury and Juventus are without a replacement. 

Juventus have a Champions League place in the last four and a tie in the semi-finals of the competition. 

The news was first reported by L’Equipe, who said Marciota would arrive in Milan on Monday morning and that he will be available for selection. 

Marciota will join Andrea Barzagli, Andrea Pirlo, Andrea Barreto, Francesco Totti and Francesco Battaglino as new Bianconeros to leave Turin. 

He is also the latest Italian player to be sold. 

Barzagli left Inter Milan for Paris Saint-Germain in January and Pirlon joined Fiorentina on loan from Liverpool in March. 

Bretaglinon left Inter for Manchester City in the summer and Totti was sold to AC Milan in December. 

Pirlo joined Juventus from Lazio in February and Ticci is also on loan at the Biancocelesti from Paris Saint Germain. 

On Sunday, Juve play host to Sassuolo in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final. 

A 1-1 draw in Turin saw Sassuol advance to the round of 16 with the second leg to take place on Tuesday.
