A couple who were found in a Washington state hotel room with “dirty” graffiti and a “Dirty Dozen” on their walls has been ordered to pay a fine, Seattle police said Friday.
The graffiti was discovered after a cleaning crew removed a “dirty dildo” in the hotel room, police said in a news release.
Seattle police spokesman Steve Anderson said Friday that a charge of reckless endangerment will be added to the case.
The couple, who have not been identified by name, are from Virginia, police told KIRO-TV.
A cleaning crew was hired to remove the graffiti on Tuesday and removed a dirty dildo and a swastika, Anderson said.
The vandalism was discovered when a cleaning company came to the hotel to remove graffiti.
In addition to the $5,000 fine, police are recommending the couple get help with their drug and alcohol problems and “seek counseling for mental health issues.”
The couple have two young children and are trying to get back on their feet.
